We are so excited to announce that we will be hosting a Phi Ball tournament this February. This is a volleyball charity tournament where all money raised will go towards our philanthropic cause, women’s heart health. Players will have a chance to sign up as a team of six to eight people or have the chance to sign up as an individual player, to then be assigned to a team! The tournament will start at 11:00 am on February 8th, 2020 and will be located at Lees campus, 200 Lees Avenue, Ottawa. We want to send a huge thank you to our Community Relations Vice President, Laura Pankiw, and Director of Philanthropy, Celina Seguin, who have been working extremely hard to put this event together!
The tournament will consist of a playoff tournament with four rounds. It will start with a round-robin, followed by a quarter-final, then we will host our semi-final and we will finish the day with the final round to announce our winner! The points will be divided by 1-point for each win, zero points for every loss and ties will be broken down by lowest points, followed by a head to head game if they should still occur!
