This past Saturday, the Iota Upsilon Chapter hosted our first ever Phi Ball Tournament! We gather with other greek and University of Ottawa students together to raise awareness for heart health and fundraise for the Heart Health Institute! The event consisted of a four-round volleyball playoff tournament, where we hosted 8 amazing teams! Thank you to You Got Served, Ferda Boys, Sigma Pi #1, Mission Unblockable, Smash for Cash, Sigma Pi #2, Sigma Alpha Mu and Checks Over Spikes for your participation!
Congratulations to Sigma Pi #1 for coming in third place, You Got Served for second place and Checks Over Spikes for winning Phi Ball 2020! We hope you enjoyed your prizes!
“I would really like to extend my sincere appreciation to all volunteers and players whose support made Phi Ball a major success.” -Celina Seguin, Director of Philanthropy
“I had such an amazing time working alongside my Director of Philanthropy, Celina, to plan this event! It was so much fun and we could not have done it without the help of so many of our sisters. We already can’t wait to host this event again next year!” - Laura Pankiw, Vice President of Community Relations
We want to thank everyone who came out to support our philanthropy and a special thank you to our amazing Vice President of Community Relations Laura Pankiw and Director of Philanthropy Celina Seguin! Your hard work and dedication to women’s heart health is greatly admired within our chapter!
